We got Max a swing for the back patio for his birthday - it was a hit!

Jake picked it out .. I was going to get a regular baby swing, but that wasn't good enough. We had to get Lightening McQueen.

Max really REALLY likes to play basketball .. he likes it when we lift him up to the little hoop at home. He likes our little blow up hoop which he can actually reach. He was a little confused about how high the hoop at the park is though - can't quite reach.

A Visit From Our Cousins!

We had a fantastic visit this week with my sister and her family! They were with us to celebrate Max's 1st birthday and also our 5th wedding anniversary. It was so much fun to watch the cousins all play together and enjoy each others company. We hope they can make this an annual trip!

Happy Birthday Max!

I decided to take a digital scrapbooking class online .. this is my first "page". It is pretty fun! My main goal is to learn my Photoshop program (which is a lot more complicated than I expected it to be).

Jake's 3rd Birthday

Because Jake LOVES LOVES LOVES garbage, garbage trucks, garbage cans, dumpsters, etc. etc. etc. we decided to do a garbage truck birthday party today. We had a few friends over today to celebrate with us. I made Jake a cake, which he really liked :-) We played a little game - "pick up the trash on the back lawn", which actually went over really well with the kids. Jake had a great time and is now sacked out for the afternoon!
