Giant baby head! The cutest baby head in the world (I'm a little biased). It is getting a bit tricky to photograph our little man. He LOVES to play with the camera, so every time I try to take a picture he lunges at me.

Chico Trip

We went to Chico this weekend and had such a nice time! Here are a couple pictures of Jake with his Papa Rich.

Halloween '09

Jacob was a monkey for Halloween this year. We went to a Halloween party at a friends house and then walked around while the older kids went trick-or-treating. It was a balmy 70 degrees after dark - gotta love fall in Phoenix!

The doctor told us to let Jake eat until he stops on his own. We aren't sure if this is the best idea or not. Check out the belly on this kid after he finished his dinner!

Best Dog Ever

We lost our beloved Lewis last night at the age of 10. He was the best dog we have ever had the pleasure of loving. We will miss him dearly. Rest in peace Mr. Dog.

This was Lewis the first day we brought him home, 3 years ago. He always had a sweet smile on his face for us.

Lewis loved to go everywhere with us. We took him every time we were able too. He loved to go hiking and walking and anywhere in the car. He was the best road trippin' dog you could ever ask for.

He was so patient with Jacob. We are sad that Jake won't remember Lewis. Hopeully he will love dogs like we do though. He will remember that they are loving wonderful creatures.

Lewis was so protective of us. He was always there in the room when I fed Jake, and followed us around the house, always laying at our feet. He was so loyal.

We will miss you buddy!

The Fair

We took Jake to the Arizona State Fair today. He ate so many corn dogs, we actually ran out of money.

Jake wanted to drive the police motorcycle, but they would only let us sit on it for a picture.
This is Jake going really really really fast on one of the rides. He went all by himself! The kid has good balance.

Jake is going to earn his way through college playing the piano. We are starting him with lessons next week.

New Friend

We babysat a sweet little girl the other day. She and Jake like the garbage can just about equally. This is the new face Jake likes to make. Usually it comes along with some funny noises :-)
