I decided to take a digital scrapbooking class online .. this is my first "page". It is pretty fun! My main goal is to learn my Photoshop program (which is a lot more complicated than I expected it to be).

A giant fish ... and some other random things

Our friends, Mike & Jen, decided we needed to have a giant helium filled remote controlled  fish baloon!  What a fun Christmas gift!

Jake waiting patiently for Daddy to come by during his bike race - 24 hours in the Papago.

Chatting with his boy

A winter time hike/bike ride with the family

Max can't wait until he can ride a bike too

This boy loves to be outside

Chillin' on a rock

Yeah!

Peek-A-Boo

He loves the Thomas couch

So proud of himself - standing without help!
Jake's little bike, outside the gym, locked up with the big bikes. Thought it was kinda cute.

Jake's 3rd Birthday

Because Jake LOVES LOVES LOVES garbage, garbage trucks, garbage cans, dumpsters, etc. etc. etc. we decided to do a garbage truck birthday party today. We had a few friends over today to celebrate with us. I made Jake a cake, which he really liked :-) We played a little game - "pick up the trash on the back lawn", which actually went over really well with the kids. Jake had a great time and is now sacked out for the afternoon!

"Don't screw this up"

My first attempt at a carved birthday cake ...

Jake liked it

I was a little worried about his possible reaction to cutting it, but he was just happy to eat some cake.

Playing "clamp the garbage"

Who knew $3 grabbers would be such fun!

Our sweet birthday boy. We love you Jake!

Merry Christmas

We celebrated Christmas two days early this year (Brian has to fly over Christmas this year. They boys have no idea when "real" Christmas is supposed to be). We had such a nice day together and despite the date, it really did feel like Christmas!

Our "Elft on the Shelf" .. Jake named him Elvis. He hung out in the Christmas Tree  on Christmas Day.

Playing with Daddy

Max just learned to wave .. and does it all the time

Posing with Jake's new tricycle

Yeah for the airport toys!

Super excited to open the new tricycle .. Thanks Aunt Sara & Grandma Sheila!

"Mowing" the lawn .. Thanks Papa Rich & Grandma Debbie

Ahhh ... Christmas in Phoenix. Looks like it could be July.

Santa Max

Should we have a caption contest for this picture?

Trying to get a picture with Max is fun when he is trying to crawl away
