Whoooo hooooo!! Life is good when you get to "drive" the grocery cart. How is it that our boys are so big already? I wish they could stay babies forever (babies that sleep well, through the night).

I wish Brian wasn't so serious all the time .. if I could just get him to lighten up a bit it would be great.

Fall Camping Trip

This week we went for a nice little family camping trip. Our campground was in Oak Creek Canyon, AZ which is just up the hill from Sedona. The fall colors were spectacular and we had a lot of fun hanging out with our little family. Jake rode his little bike all over the place and kept telling us he was "going mountain biking" like Daddy. Max enjoyed the change of scenery and was pretty happy when we weren't trying to get him to take a nap. This was the first camping trip for Max!

The first night we all slept in the same sleeping bag to keep warm. We had a propane leak in the trailer and weren't able to repair it until the next morning (no heater, no cooking). That meant a "less than great" night of sleep the first night and a trip to a cute little tourist trap diner for dinner (The Red Planet Cafe) and another trip to McDonald's for breakfast in the morning. The second night was much more  comfortable and we got to have a more "normal" camping experience - not driving into town for food!
