New kitchen

We got Jake a play kitchen. It has been a huge hit. This morning we spent a couple hours "cooking" and "eating" with play-doh.

Today we made chocolate cake .. Jake helped clean up the mixing bowl. It is funny how the bowl starts out dirty and the boy starts out clean ...

Train Park

Brian sometimes rides his bike on the trainer in our bathroom. Jake usually is asleep when this is going on. This time he got to watch, and thought it was pretty cool his sippy cups fit into the water bottle holders on the bike...

There isn't much cuter than a toddler in bike shoes and no pants!

We took Jake to the open house at the Avondale Fire Station this morning .. He was a little worried about the fireman in his full outfit, but he did OK while clinging to me

Vacation!

We went to San Diego for vacation this month. We camped at South Carlsbad State Beach and got to enjoy watching Jake at the ocean for the first time. We also got to go to the Miramar Air Show twice that weekend. We had so much fun!

We didn't realize Jake could sleep through such a racket! I think there was an FA-18 flying around with it's afterburners on at this point. VERY loud, but Rip Van Winkle slept right through it
