The Ladies Man

Jake grabbed my Victoria's Secret magazine and ran off to his reading cushion to "browse" .. I did help him get a good hold on it so I could get a picture, but this really wasn't staged :-) I know, I know ... it's not appropriate, etc. etc. ... but it was pretty funny to me! (Honestly, it wasn't the content he was interested in - he does the same thing to the newspaper, Sunset Magazine, etc.)

Well - I guess at some point little boys discover mud. Jake had a lovely time playing in his new discovery. Messy messy!

It's my job now .. taking Jake to the park. We go almost every day to one park or another. He loves it!

Jake the builder

We love the workbench from Papa Rich & Grandma Debbie! Jake does lots of hammering these days. Constantly working on something .. we aren't sure what he is building yet. The other day he was hammering on a sandal that he had put on his bench.

Reading

Jake has a little cushion/chair thingy that he LOVES to sit in and "read" his favorite books. He has three pop-up books that he adores. The problem is, he doesn't understand that you cannot rip your favorite characters out of the books. We have been having trouble trying to find a balance between letting him read these books himself (and ripping them) and letting us read to him (and listen to his squawk because he wants the books himself).

Mama got a new camera

I got a new toy! Needless to say, Jake feels like he has the paparazzi stalking him this week :-) Get used to it kiddo!
