Bike Race

Yeah daddy! Brian won his bike race yesterday - 1st place!! WHOO HOOO! I wish we all could have been there to cheer him on, but thankfully we have friends who had their camera so we could see the fun picture of him on the podium. We are proud of you! XOXO

Baby Max!

Our little bundle of joy arrived on Monday February 21st, 2011 at 10:47pm. Max William Murphy weighed 8lbs 8oz at birth and was 19 inches long, He is a sweet healthy happy little guy and we are happy to report that Jake seems happy to have a little brother too!

Jake's First Bike

We got Jake his first bike today. It is a balance bike - it has no pedals. He thinks it is pretty cool to have a bike like Daddy!

Bike Race

We got to go to Brian's bike race on Saturday - it was at Estrella Mountain Park (which is only about 10 minutes from home). Brian did great! He took 3rd place. Jake had a nice day playing in the dirt and enjoying another great Phoenix "winter" day.

Soccer

We thought it might be fun for Jake to participate in a "multi-sport" class for a few weeks. It is at the new Avondale Sports Complex right down the street from us. The first two weeks were soccer, the second two weeks are baseball, then basketball and football. It's pretty fun to watch him "play."
