Toys?

So, you buy your kid toys. You buy educational toys, fun toys, loud toys, colorful toys ... and they decide to play with the 7 year old throw rug in the kitchen :-) Maybe it is a magic carpet and only Jake knows about it.

How to entertain a baby in a restaurant. Dump out the chips, and put the bowl on his head!

8 Months Old

Brian and Jake at the V.I.P.S. (Volunteers in Police Service) recognition ceremony. Brian got a presidential service award for volunteering with the police department. We are so proud of him! Jake with one of the therapy dogs (the dog is a police volunteer too!)

Cabela's

Jake and I took a little trip to Cabella's the other day. He enjoyed looking at the aquarium much more than he enjoyed trying on camouflage hats. I almost had to buy a $20 rainbow trout pillow for him because he wouldn't let go of it.

Poop Scoopin'

For some strange reason, Jake thinks scooping dog poop is really funny. Every time Grandma Sheila scooped poop he just cracked up (it is hard to hear him in this video - trust me though, he is laughing). This happened multiple times, on different days. We aren't sure what is so funny about it, maybe someday Jake can explain it to us.
